For the month of February the Adult Forum, meeting on Sunday mornings, will be taking a look at Paul’s two letters addressed to the church at Thessalonica. We will focus on what a faith community of long ago has to say to us, the church today. Hopefully you will be surprised and hopeful as we consider how to live out Paul’s teachings as Christian men and women of the 21st century. Please join us beginning this Sunday morning and throughout the month of February as we open our minds and hearts to God’s Word for the living of our days. Regard the following words of Theonas of Alexandria (C. 300): “Let no day pass by without reading some portion of the Sacred Scriptures and giving some space to meditation; for nothing feeds the soul so well as those sacred studies do. Meet at 9:30 outside the nursery door.
