Please bring the coats to St. Johns by November 7 and they will be delivered to Hope Harbor Shelter for the Nov 9th distribution. Please no sweaters, sweat shirts (with hoodies), and other less warm coats. Rain coats are acceptable if warm. Questions? Contact Pat Fehling or the church office.

Annual Meeting

On January 29, following the 9:30 Eucharist the annual meeting will be held.
All who worship with us are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting. At the annual meeting we elect new parish leaders: vestry members and delegates to convention. We will review our finances and receive next year’s budget as presented by the vestry. We will continue our community building work as guided conversations on a theme will be offered. As in the past two years, the Annual Meeting will take place in the narthex at tables with a simple light breakfast snacks being provided.

This year’s annual campaign is designed to help us reflect on the gifts we receive and the gifts we have to offer. The same presentation will be offered following both services and at the adult forum time at 9:30. Come learn about our the impact of our campaign and some of our special needs for 2015.

Gardening Laborers Needed

Volunteers are needed to do the work of preparing the ground in front of the chapel so that the landscape can be planted. There is a sign-up sheet at the Ministry Table. This will be fairly labor intensive work.

Launched with the intention of us all helping each other and keeping perfectly useable items out of landfills. How it works:  If you have something you no longer need and think someone from our church family could use it, please post a description of that item here.  You may also post “wants” here, if you are looking for something.  Please check the board regularly to see if someone is looking for something you might be able to provide. These can be tangible items as well as services.  If you have any questions you may contact Kimberly Kinser at the church office.
